Studio graduated from Sweet Briar back when there were sign-out sheets for trips off campus and nylons were required at Sunday dinner. In addition to doing decorative painting, she also does fine art. Her career has been in publication design and she has won over 24 national and regional awards in this capacity. She has taught graphic design at the University of Florida and Indiana University. She lives in Fairfax, Virginia and visits campus often.
